That thing will be bad ass on the Rubicon :pimp:

Not a wheeling rig. Never will be. I have other plans in that direction. :D

Rockwells, 385/85/r20(46") goodyears, a rear engine, 600-700hp (atleast) duramax and Ultra4 capable suspension. I WILL be racing The King Of The Hammers, maybe not this coming race, but the 2017 KOH for sure. I learned a few things about keeping vehicles running in sh!t conditions while serving as a mechanic in a CAV unit in Iraq. 150+ cars starting KOH and less than 40 finishing is...lame. So many broken cars and busted parts. I did pit crew for car 4458, lucas oil, koh 2012, as well as co-builder on a separate Ultra4 car, I've learned a LOT from those experiences. All the DNF's point towards engineering failures, inexperience, oversight and giant ego's. I'll finish the race...while towing a broken car across the finish line with me. :haha::bow:

Got a few things done today. Pulled 454, pressure washed everything.

I had hoped I wouldn't have to pull the winch/bumper too. Unfortunately the engine hoist didn't have enough reach.

I found these while cleaning out the shop. ORD sway bar disconnect things. These will be part of the motor mounts for the 8.1-

Haven't really thought about exhaust yet. Lots more other stuff to think about first.Might end up just using factory manifolds.

Yeeehaaa! For the first time in my life, I have a welder up and running and shop/workspace thats mine, where I live, my house, not my gramps or someone elses house or shop. Took me almost 39 years to achieve...holy balls you have no idea how good that feels. Wooohoooo!!
