Success! Took her around the block a bit, then shut it off for 30 min. Started it back up to go to soccer tournament and not one puff of smoke. I still have new wires to put on, then change the oil and filter after the game.

I thought I would just get my b52 brackets on for a little project for the future.
Apparently in my old age I forgot the stock springs are too wide to fit in the b52 bracket. Crap. Guess i’ll have to put my ord 52’s in there. Apparently in my old age I forgot the stock brakelines are to short. Crap. Guess i’ll diconnect those and order some longer ones. Apparently in my old age I forgot these springs are massive and my stock push-pull steering isn’t going to work. Crap. Guess i’ll dig out my 8lug axle with crossover out of the shed. Apparently in my old age I forgot I don’t have any 8 lug wheels/tires that are gonna fit on this thing. Crap… oh yeah, I also need a 2wd box. And shocks…
Oh, and this axle has 4:56. Guess I get to swap the rear too
