Thats one of the diagrams I used last night. It helped determine everything is where it should be. I just have a spare check ball now.

Been spending my nights on the driveway getting everything back together and its almost ready. Jut need to set up TV and throttle cables an make sure all the wires are connected.
While checking on a few things I looked a the battery and found its chilling at 6 volts, so its on a charger but will likely get warrantied today too. Ugh.

Also talked with the Transmission guy and he said that he pulled all the check balls and replaced them, which I believe, but the one in the pan he thinks is one he pulled out and it was sitting in the side of the case and dropped in the pan when it was rotated upright..

Back up and running! Drove around the block a few times and made a few adjustments, topped off fluids and checked for leaks. Everything seems good.
Got a few little projects I want to tie up before bash and love that we got a long weekend.
One thing that is bothersome is the transmission wants to shift at 2500-3000 rpm in any gear and won't hold the gear any higher than that no matter the amount of throttle applied. It was the same way with the last rebuild. I've added a new tv cable and mounting bracket that moves it closer to the throttlebody. Whether the cable is tight or loose doesn't seem to affect the shift points.
I know it's important to have that adjusted properly and following the practice that I've used for almost 10 years now doesn't make a difference.
Any thoughts?
