The one of you I took on Moab Rim is my favorite of the trip, the lighting and scenery came out great.

I like that one a lot too.
Its funny I see a few people got pictures of me on devils crack, you'd think I parked there or something

wow, you can really see the pinion moving up in that pic!

Of course I'm over here just jealous of the fact that you are all twisted up and your panel gaps still look right. My door gap in the same spot was probably 3". lol

So been a couple weeks since Bash and had to drive the jimmy to work due to the battery dying in my pickup. Nice thing is the new battery I bought in Moab is holding and the jimmy started right up even after sitting that long. Win!
A few things that manefested or broke in Moab that I’ll need to fix soon.
Passengers side hub broke so a new set will get ordered this coming month.
The exhaust needs to be reworked. The front spring shackles will rub on the collectors and push them apart. Last set of headers also bent at the head mounting flange so hopefully that hasn’t happened to these ones.
Side effect to the exhaust being pushed apart and leaking is the FiTech wants to run pretty rich and I smell like fuel after driving it around the block, could be worse

And apparently as @skunked pointed out I may need an anti wrap bar. Always liked the DIY4X wraptor so might research that more.

Upgrades that I want.
Front locker
Hydro assist
New headlights. Became very apparent on the trail that they are inadequate.
Lower gearing likely 513s
Variety of tube work. Slider, finish rear bumper, gas tank skid.

Gonna have fun with winter projects.

And so it’s not all boring here’s a few of my favorite pics from the trip.

Lets get crazy and throw in 538s vs 513s... just saying...

lets get crackin on this thing so we can take a stab at snow wheeling!

Got hubs ordered and should be installing them this weekend, I hope.
I ordered the G2 hubs, after talking with a buddy at 4wp he sold me on the lifetime warranty and better price than other brands.
Also this last weekend the local Sears store started their closing liquidation. Grabbed a few ratchets and a new tool box to better fit and organize my tools

Those pics are sweet! That thing flexes pretty good with the 38s on there.

Thanks!
It does pretty good for the setup. I think 38s on a shallower offset is about the max you can fit on a first gen with only minor fender modding. Funny thing is I almost pulled the trigger on some 40s when I got new tires and I can say I'm glad I didn't

Welp replaces the hubs and the G2 parts are pretty slick. The hubs lock up but I’m not convinced the issue is fixed. Spun the tires, one at a time, while the other tire was on the ground and the drivers side would spin the drive shaft but the passengers side wouldn’t. The stubs on both sides are good so it may be an inner shaft?
I’ll have to mess with it more over the next few days.

Went out to little Moab and enjoyed some good mild wheeling with the fam. The kids haven’t gone off-roading with us yet and they had a blast.
The 4wd worked fine and the new hubs are so easy to engage. Patched the exhaust and adjust my throttle cable which made the drivability much better.
Also said no to mud :waytogo:

Got a little snow today and with the wind pushing drifts around it was getting deep. Had about 8” of snow fall but there’s about 2’ or more on the hood of the equinox.
I kinda hope it keeps snowing today so I fire up the Jimmy and play when I get home.
