Nice details. I think stuff like this really enhances the enjoyment of a long day on the trail.

Details that I didn't really notice until I started carrying passengers. Next year I might even add A/C.

Great rig that did awesome in Moab! I need to copy the headlight upgrade and hood vents.
IndeedSounds like both of us need to be doing hydro assist this winter.
An interesting issue appeared on the drive back down the canyon. The drive is mostly slow speed 10-20 mph with lots of switch backs. whenever I went to turn more than a quarter turn it felt like the steering gear would snag, catch, stop and I would have to force it past that point then it would work again. I'm thinking its likely the box having internal issues. I also noticed that just before bash I have had to put more effort into steering like the pressure assist just wasn't as strong.
I saw that previously and it made me think something internal in the box was letting go.Pay attention to @skunked build, he is having steering problems too.
I just have regular power steering and forearmsremove the assist from the equation by capping the box.
I just have regular power steering and forearms

then it's time for a ported box![]()
@blazinzuk insists that piecing it together is cheaper and better. After seeing some of these guys talk about wanting bigger fittings and such, I'm leaning that direction. So on topic, kit or piece together? What works? What's the favorite flavor for hydraulic assist parts?
