I used to have a house in Stockton just below there. Always fun to take my quad straight from my house up into those mountains.
After that wheeling trip I discovered a slow leak that manifested as a flat tire. I think I ran over a fire pit under the snow that had nails in it. Luckily it was repairable.
This year I’m fortunate enough to go to full-size invasion and doing some prep on the jimmy to get it ready to go.
After adding the PSC box and ram last year my steering still sucked and the old pump, which I got used, was next on the list to replace. Spent the last few days updating and the pulleys and swapping out the pump with a reman that I hope will help the situation.
I want to add a cooler to my system but I’m not sure where I want to mount it yet.

I had an old trans cooler that I used and it worked out great. Steering while in the rocks and air down was a ton easier. Just need to tighten my belt cuz it was screaming a bit.
It was nice to have the truck just work and not have any real issues on a multi day wheeling trip.

Haven’t done much with truck since spring but I’ve been having issues with the doors not swinging easily. Pretty sure my door hinges need new bushing and it might be contributing all the busted door handles too.
I’ve dreaded fixing them because of how big of a job it turns into.

First gen/full vert problems. I don't envy that project at all. Good luck.
I’m interested to see what you find. My buddies first gen has some slop in the hinge that’s causing the striker to drag on the lock mechanism. Looks like a bigger job than I anticipated…..

I too am interested, that is another project I need to tackle!
While I’m waiting on parts to come in, I finished removing the the inner fender wells, shocks and bumpstop brackets. Slowly but surely I will remove all the rivets from my frame
Sold it, sadly I didn’t have room to store it.
I would like to see what trimming is needed to make those work. I want to do the same
The middle section fits pretty much out of the box not you may need to do a little fitting as each frame will vary slightly.
the ends are a different story and will need extra massaging. The shackle hanger on first gens are different and so the rear plate won’t go right on.
Getting close to done on the passenger side
Wrapped up the passengers side and moves onto the drivers side. The second side always seems to go faster. With that done I’m hoping my door parts show up soon so I can get to fixing the hinges.
Had some more parts and help show up for a bit of a thrash weekend.
