Maybe a shallower one. This is one from a 241, to match the 32 output shaft I have

I will tell you that I haven't had a problem with my '70 which has a 700R4 / 205.
I haven't seen any marks on the the shaft, even with ORD springs.

Of course @bent72 is going to say that it's because I'm old and blind.....

The front drive shaft I decided to use was from the 90 suburban, looks like it will suffice for a while. After I ground all of the stops out of the factory CV, I got a bunch more flex out of it. Tried installing the twin shifters, those will need to be warmed up with torch and adjusted. Just trying to button up all of the loose ends now.

Hey Justin, mounting a Ramsey worm drive up there will help squish those springs down

I'd rather shove a 12V Cummins in there.

But on the actual real life set of things. My neighbor was feeling generous. I was only charged 40 bucks to to cut and reweld my twinstick shifters . :hack::weld::dunno:

FWIW, I definitely do not have a "ghost trailer" problem with the springs in the truck. Ass is up, face is down. Not by much. But the only part # I could get was on the rear springs... the front might be 4"... This set of springs did come off of a Suburban, which is way rear heavy compred to my shortbox K10. I did modify my rear stock 56's and used a 6" rear shackle. But I am also using a B52 kit with 48" springs in the front and changed the front shackle hanger position and orientation with also using a 7.25" front shackle. All I can say is any conventional wisdom probably doesn't appy here.

So I'm saying it is possible that the burb had 6 inch rear springs but only 4 inch front springs. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT, but it is possible.
