My wife says the same thing. I just explain that this is why I am lifting my truck, so I won't have to use them anymore. :haha:

But seriously, she is way smarter than that. She knows it is just so I can look down other girls shirts while stuck in traffic.

Did not know that, but also never looked locally.

Just beware, they may want to know what year/make/model your truck is:doah:

At least that was my experience before I found real 4wd shops (ruffstuff & WFO).

I just keep reminding myself that the guy behind the counter might-maybe-possibly be making 15 an hour. And no overtime... these folks can't be that happy and certainly wouldn't be working at the parts house if they were worth more...

My lighting sucks. Passenger side looks great on clearance. Driver's side not so much. Worried about mount interference and also ORD crossmember interference.

It's the center dump that's the problem for sure. Might be ok for a 67-72 that ran center dump rams horn manifolds, but that is putting it right into the engine cross member's real estate. Not to mention how bad it might cook that drivers side motor mount.

Keep this in mind, Vette guys that wanted more HP ditched these over better headers back when they were new.

Engine is back in, Vette headers are coming back out. At a later date...

Driver's contacts mount area as suspected. Tired of messing with the engine for now.

Disappointed that these didn't work. Really liked the appearance and the way the Y-pipe was ran under the engine.

The headers make engine mount bolt installation and removal really difficult and I can't let part of the header rest on the frame.

Now I'm really upset. Looks like they were just waiting to have the tension taken off of them

I looked them over really good before pulling them from the rear, had no idea that they were ready to go. Saw no cracks what so ever.

I guess I will put in these POS rough country front springs that I have.

Hey man, just smile and nod. Sometimes they make you earn it. Just makes it more worthwhile once it's done
