No truck work this weekend, but I did score a Husky 20ish gallon compressor, a 3 ton hydraulic jack, 1500 lb motorcycle jack, 6.75 HP pressure washer, La-Z-Boy office chair, a ladder, 4 brand new fire extinguishers, and some other odds and ends all for 200 bucks...

All in good working order, well taken care of, with everything except the pressure washer being less than a year old.

I got a box built by Benchworks on my '70 K10 and it works awesome, even with the 35's. I have another one here , but didn't get to drive it much before tearing apart the K5 it was on. My son liked the one on my '70 so much, he got one for his '72, but it hasn't been started still.

At the moment the box is fine, currently looking at pumps...

I would call them and see what they say on that too. They were very helpful when I have talked with them. Tell them what you have planned.

Made a deal with the imfamous "Nate" of @mrk5 's many posts with the Red Skinny K5 to trade a set of 56's for his 52's plus the leafs he pulled from my 56's.

My 56's were 8+1 so i now have 52's that are 4+1 that will become 6+0 once I modify and install the extra leafs...

Bye bye Rough AF Country front springs...

Far from an expert, but. In my talks with experts about Springs, 52's in particular, I learned this. They work well, guys eventually loose the overloads to try & make them travel & ride better, but shorten the lifespan of the spring pack. I took my 52" spring pack, lost the overload then cut 2 additional springs out of the spare pack & added them in. This gave me a more linear spring rate during up travel & still maintained a good ride quality without sacrificing longevity. Here are a before & after. Food for thought.
