Got the truck inspected again... I've officially been in MO for a year now.
Only put 250 miles on this turd in that time.
Probably outta change the the oil. I think it's been in there since just after BB18.

Got the oil changed today. Figured That I would go ahead and put the big filter on it. We'll, it is bigger than the standard 1060 Napa.... there might be an even larger filter available but I don't know...
I used a 1794 Napa filter, same outside diameter but a few inches taller. Bottom of the filter is right at the bottom of the pan. I filled the thing up before screwing it on, and it took about a quart and a half. It fit just fine with the stock braces that run from the motor mounts to the inspection cover on the transmission. Headers might be a concern with this filter, but I have manifolds so...

I've seen a really tall one from K&N too. On mine it ended up too close to the exhaust, or at least closer than I liked.
Still drive this here and there. Put maybe 6-7 miles on it today. Everywhere I go I catch someone peaking at it. There aren't many old squares running around this part of the country when compared to Colorado so I figure it gets more attention than it deserves.
