On another note, U-haul's new toy hauler trailer is pretty well on point. I rented 2 of them to drag all of my junk from Missouri to Arizona, they pull real nice and my Chevy fit with room to spare in every way. My 4-door F150 fit no problem as well. Only real draw back is that the ramps have a fixed spread. No problem for me but maybe someone might find that inconvenient.
I’d buy one of those trailers in a heartbeat if Uhaul ever sold them. They pull great and handled my overweight K5 with zero issues. Just need a couple more points to tie down to.

Although the price is actually higher for the 8 x 6.5. $223 a piece, not really a big deal

I do like the position of my tires I currently have, they are 16x10 wheel with somewhere around 3.5 inch back space. The H2's math out to about 5.5" backspace, and they are only 8.5 wide, which narrows the track even farther.

Right now I can go full lock on my steering and not hit my springs with the tire (38 ×14.5). Wondering if the H2 wheels with 40×13.5 would rub the springs.

H2 wheels do look nice, and I have considered them. The offset requires wheel spacers if I remember right.

I thought there was something about the center bore being a fuzz small...

I've got a Dode 60 with GM hubs in my truck. The H2's needed a little work on the bore to fit. Factory they are hub centric, I took a router to the bore and use the lugs to center it now. Been few years now with no issues.

My brain won't decide...

How uncivilized of me would it be to buy 2 of each and swap rings around...

One side of the truck would be black with machined rings and the other would be silver with black rings...

I don't think I would ever actually do that, but the thought wafted through the brain space.
