I'm glad someone bought it to drive it, not part it out.

Sometimes they need to be parted to save others, as was the case with the Burb that I bought. It sat on CL for 2 1/2 months, and I got it for less than half of his original asking price. But it still sucked to pull apart a running/driving truck.

For sure. Dave bought my old K5.
Before he bought it, I was getting repeated offers to buy the 60. I didn't want to see someone pull parts and crush it

But at some point, you need a donor

Eventually it would be nice to have enough room to buy and fix and sell these trucks. I imagine that it would take on average three trucks bought for every one that would be sold though. Which would mean that I would either have my own little junk yard or also have to run a business parting 2 of every 3 trucks that I saw.

And as for the Burb, I told that guy flat out what I wanted it for, he had no reservations selling knowing that it was going to be a donor.

And I found out that the TH350 has decided to puke a bunch of fluid all over my garage floor so that is nice.

And it will continue to keep peeing on the floor,
The old problem of leaving it sit, it lets fluid out of the convertor slowly. ...

I used the same spacer in my '70. I used studs to put it all together. Did it come with studs?

So, TBI stuff...

If the motor is stock, a factory tbi chip will work
If you know what mods have been made, you can have someone program that stuff through.

You can also use the tbi and data log or a scanner and gather enough data to reprogram it.

Our day screw it and use and aftermarket EfI kit that's self tuning

Can you post some pics of your front LEDs? I think I'm going to do the same on mine

As you can see my paint hasn't held up, but same idea as the rear, make a panel to mount the grommet light and position where you want it.

Also, you should know that the mod requires buying an electronic flasher and the LED lights wouldn't let me keep the the alternating blinker between the front and side lights up front. I had to wire the side light as a clearance/parking light only.

That's not a problem. Thanks man! Looks simple enough for me! Appreciate you getting some pics for me!
