When look at the carrier, on the side of the ring gear that has teeth, there are forur rectangular opening if its an open diff, 3 if its a gov lock.

well the 203 and trans is gone. got rid of it to the guy that built my tranny. i owe him alot tho. the engine is sitting nicely at my dads garage under the blanket gonna be my 383 STROKER next!!


i finally started to work on the 14ff yesterday, and today got both hubs off, i have decided to go disc. probably this week will clean up the rear, take it to ernie(transmission guy) to rebuild my rear end. while i was working on it i got a phone call. i looked its from a friend of mine from auto body shop. i ingored it. abt 20 mins later i showed up at his shop to chat n see whats up, he asked if i want to work for him, i told him nah i got a new job startin this wedensday at gsi. he say oh chit he really need help and are behind at work. then he asked me if i want to work for him at nights 4 days a week then im thinking.. more money, fix the truck faster and do it right. so i say what am i gonna make, he think for a sec and asked me what am i makin at gsi i told him. he think again.. then say he'll pay me 10 an hour cash thats less than what i make at gsi but im thinkin i cant say no, more money. so i say yes ill work for him. like 2 to 3 hrs a night. not bad, i work from 7 am to 3 pm at gsi plus overtime if needed, after that straight to body job.
now ill working abt 14 hrs a day between those two, and then an hr on my truck plus weekends. anyhow, justin hired me, we talked he might work on my truck too
