6" lift. 3/4 ton axles.
Yeah I thought bout it more on way home from work and realized how important accurate temp is for the efi. I already got one in my amazon cart. I guess I was still thinking h about it more for the gauge not the actual efi
The gauge sender is the one in the head. Debates can be had over the accuracy of monitoring heat temp vs in the intake but given the stock gauge being known for margial accuracy in the first place I wouldn't harp over where it is as long as it is somewhat inline with the fitech value. After you fix that sensor though.
 
Couple other parts ordered. New balancer as I think mine has slipped. Ordered some shorty headers with an o2 bung.

Hopefully you got the right balancer. I think Chevy decided which balancer to use on which engine by using a dart board
 
But isn't there a difference in where the pointer is supposed to be? It seems like some of the mid to late 70's stuff had it straight up. Is that a concern when ordering?
