I always wondered if shocks in front could have a minimal benefit fighting axle wrap.
 
I always wondered if shocks in front could have a minimal benefit fighting axle wrap.
I think that was the idea behind it but honestly if it's on either side would it make a difference? I'm sure one pointing each direction would be best for that like the factory does.
 
Are they saying a 2 piece driveshaft due to limited travel in the slip on the tailshaft?
How are you going to mount a carrier bearing? Are you planning to make the front section fairly short?

With the way the suspension cycles right now it has about 3.5 inches of plunge in and out of the tcase. The carrier bearing will get built on a tube cross member right about where the cab and bed meet. This will also help frame twist so its a win win.

I had a feeling the driveshaft was going to be a issue, I'm not against it and actually saved some money to redo it. Because of this I won't be picking up the truck this week but 2 weeks later.
