Looking very nice and stout!
Thanks, it’s all my buddy Justin.Looking very nice and stout!
No specific reason at all. The gas tank is actually on the drivers side as a saddle. How come you didn't do the shocks behind the axle? Gas tank in the way?
I think that was the idea behind it but honestly if it's on either side would it make a difference? I'm sure one pointing each direction would be best for that like the factory does.I always wondered if shocks in front could have a minimal benefit fighting axle wrap.
With the way the suspension cycles right now it has about 3.5 inches of plunge in and out of the tcase. The carrier bearing will get built on a tube cross member right about where the cab and bed meet. This will also help frame twist so its a win win.Are they saying a 2 piece driveshaft due to limited travel in the slip on the tailshaft?
How are you going to mount a carrier bearing? Are you planning to make the front section fairly short?
What no pics? HahaI made it! Truck looks amazing and this driveshaft is ridiculous. 1410 joints, carrier bearing and a slip on the rear of the shaft
Driveline inc my buddy knows the owner. When he was at the race shop they did all the driveshafts.Which drive shaft shop did you use
The thought crossed my mind…You would not have had the slip length issues with links. Just say'n.
Looks good.
