I don't see how adding steel to the frame will fix that. I have never had that problem, but I have nothing but floppy factory frames around here.
From the trans cross member to the middle of the bed has no crossmember so this would go in place

My thoughts is basically this, with the tubes I have it will be 24 inches long. I don’t want to box in the rails though.

The center of the x hopefully would be in the middle of the cab and bed.

I believe the thought is the frame flex is causing the trans/tcase leak.

I’ve had mine pretzeled up pretty well and I don’t have any leaks between my adapter and trans. Personally I like the frame flex, too stiff and things start cracking. I guess you could say I’ve added three crossmembers the winch cradle up front the hitch in the back and the DIY 4X shock mount.

Somewhere I remember reading, I think from one of the ORD guys, about mounting the transmission on a single mount to allow it to be able to rock or pivot more easily. With that in mine, I setup the magnum, with 2 spring eye type bushings in line. I had paid attention to the idea because my 700r4/NP241 combo was constantly leaking between the trans and adapter due to the bolts loosening up. I know @ktmoutfront fought with the same problem even with a much more rigid frame.

Yes, mine dumps fluid like it’s cool. As of right now I’m using the stock 1991 crossmember that was used with a 700r4/NP241

In a week or so it will have a custom crossmember but still using the factory style poly mount. The engine is mounted using leaf spring bushings and once a year those bolts are loose on the block…

Basically everything comes loose even the nut behind the wheel!!!!

My frame has zero flex and the transmission cross member is more beef than any I have seen. Bolts came out frequently. Installed heli-coils and red locktite. No problems since.

If you're not wheeling it anymore it's not going to make any difference because they'll never leak again because you're not wheeling it.
