I bet your neighbors get a kick out of watching you work out there in the driveway - riding engines like a horse, jumping up and down on bare framerails and sitting in the cab pretending like you're driving.

Building trucks is fun - like being a kid again. :D

I have yet to hear anything from them. I do take a lot of precaution though. I clean my mess up, keep it covered, close up shop at a good time and I even stop making a lot of noise when the neighbor kids are outside.

Tomorrow I'm starting on the shackle flip install, I hope I can knock it out and not turn it into a month ordeal.

Got the drivers side factory hanger out. If I wasn't so lazy Saturday and stayed out till sunrise Sunday morning I most likely could have had it completely done.

Most of that is dried up mud and not rust.

That pic brings back good memories from when I did mine years ago. I love removing rivets from the frame.

So what about the front hangers for the rear springs? Aren't they mounted way up higher on the 2wd frame than they are on the 4wd frame? Are you going to have to knock the rivets out and relocate those brackets?

cant realy relocate them . there totaly diffrent hangers all together.

he could get 4wd ones and drill new holes ( diffrent spacing ) or he could just add 3" in the springs or a block .

I'm thinking it will be close to level because my stock pack has been modified and sits up a few inches higher then a 2wd. When I get all the weight back on I will go from there.

I have knocked out so many rivets it's not even funny...

Front leaf spring brackets front and rear, engine cross member. Also took out the front core support body mounts on my 2wd and now the rear leaf hangers. F bomb rivets. :haha:

Shackle flip is back on but I got some weird results.

Passenger angle.

I wasn't able to drill the holes for the bottom bracket, do I have the brackets on backwards?

At first glance, drivers looks to be in the wrong holes? Needs to be forward. Is there a difference on the 2wd frame?

I don't know if I can help much. I cut all of the leaf mounts off of mine and threw them away.

I put them in the exact same location as the factory brackets, that is where they go under my understanding. It does make sense that I would need to put the rear bolts through the factory front and re-drill but that would push my axle way forward and it's already a inch or two pushed in.

You have one of the brackets in the wrong set of holes. Looks how close the driver side is to the bumper bracket compared to the other side.

Ok looking at the pictures I have the passenger side forward in a different location then the drivers side which is why the angles are different. If I move the drivers forward then I will have the same problem with the bottom 2 bolts.

I could do that but it would ruin Kert's design of the lower mounting.

Also KTM, I jumped up and down on the bumper for you. :haha:
