My plan was to use this as a skin and maybe stitch weld it for more support like the ord weld on frame repair kit.

Just use that frame to box yours if you want your time to be worth while.

I'll pass on this then, thanks for keeping me in check. I thought it might be affective enhancement to these weak frames. Seems for what I want a few pieces of plate will do just fine.

And have a shop who's owned by the holding company than he has stock in build it for him :surepal:

And then blame all of us for the problems he's created and force a "solution" that's going to cost us big time.

On second thought, maybe you should just stick with wedding crashing and truck building.

Haha I just don't know how go make anything structure wise. This is all a complete learning experience.

This weekend I plan on doing some tack welds if I can figure that out.:haha:

Just an fyi... If you mess up. A grinder with a cutoff and some grinder wheels will always get you right back where ya started. :waytogo:

You need to just build this thing and stop thinking about it all. It will just eat you up.
I know from mine.

I am going to be down there in August. If its not running, I'm taking it back with me. Because you don't deserve it.

Get to getting something done.

If it's not running by then I'll let you, maybe we can go wheeling. I sometimes have bad insomnia and all I think about it this truck and I tend to spill everything out.

If It wasn't for working in a driveway I think I would be further along. I have 5 days of planning 2 days to execute it and hope for something productive.

I know. I'm just busting your chops. I have crap loads of ideas for the jimmy. Just no place to execute them. So it will only get repairs.

I would like to try out that trail you did with the AZ guys, that looked like something I would enjoy. :thumb:
