Going from a gen 3 to gen 4 ecm, would require few engine sensors changed and a new ecm flash along with added wiring. Also mounting the 241 on the back would require attention.

What sort of attention? Is the mounting pattern different?

Different spline count and I believe the adapter would need to be made.

If you were to do it, you'd use the stock 6L80E adapter and you'd just need to swap the 241 to a 32 spline input.

That makes good sense. He'd be doing that anyway if he wanted to get away from the 4L60 architecture.

So I goofed off all weekend and didn't clean the garage. Tomorrow when I get home I'll start cleaning and in the middle of trick or treaters I'll be organizing and hope to accomplish a few things during the week.

Plan is to have the truck running and maybe take it to Laughlin during the rage at the river race December 10th.
