8. swap vss to the tailshaft of trans (new plug)
9. grease u joints
10. Tool box welded and cleaned

Wants
1. door panels
3. rock lights
4. switch panel
5. front bumper lights
6. radiator

It's a never ending cycle, it is never done.

I think having a radiator should be higher on the list.
Radiator is just to keep the trans cooler, it functions just runs a little warmer then I would like it to. Been running like this for years and been to two different BB's
Have you jumped the shit out of this thing yet?
I have barely driven it actually.

I think it needs a cage both for safety and to brace the frame more before jumpy things. The C channel isn't that strong. Plating the frame helps but its still a c channel unless you box it.

I agree, I'll use the truck but I don't plan on beating it to death. I definitely want to do something for safety, thinking of just doing a hoop behind the seat at a minimum.

Just ordered up the remaining door items, weird fact that I'm not really proud of. I have been driving this truck sense 09 without a drivers door panel. :haha:

It was down for about 5 years while I was building it. 2010-2015 It didn't bother me at all, just like not having a radio in it sense I have owned the truck or a/c
When I was in my 20's and early 30's my cars had no radio, no A/C, no seat belts and some were missing door panels, or headliners.
Didn't bother me.
Now I have to have a radio, and A/C is preferred but I have been going for 4 weeks with no A/C since my compressor clutch blew out.
Panels are missing on the rear door.
But I have been driving it non stop since I bought it and I am slowly fixing things

When I was younger and framing and sheet rocking, the heat didn’t bother me. Been in the office to long I guess now. I won’t daily a vehicle without it.

Got my transfercase shifter figured out, i'll be able to switch to 2wd on the trail. Tomorrow after work I might try and mount the console and swap the VSS plug and wire that in. Would be the first time the truck will actually shift in 4low without having to flog it hard.

That would be good.

Center console is in with the shifter through the ashtray hole.
