Oh. Oh my.
That looks so good. Put the black wheels from the dodge on it. Pleeeeaaaaase!?!?
And what rattle can did you use?
:It came out great. Duplicolor has nice nozzles. I painted my hood with rustoleum navy and it is a nice color but streaky af cause of the nozzle. You did a fine job.
That thing looks great. Great color choice too. Nice work
I will 100% admit that I was very sceptical of how it would turn out, but I stand very corrected sir!!!
This was the missing piece to this being a great truck very nice sir.

Now to see it sound as good as it looks
And yes, vote #2 to put the other wheels back on!
Looks great hard to tell it’s rattle canned.

When I was in highschool, (I'm 32, so 15ish years ago) one of my shop teachers was a former GM Warranty Specialist.Seems like 454/4.10s was 17500 gcwr
Martin?
Wow, I've heard of people hauling way more than these trucks were designed for, I my self will probably be pushing 20K GCWR, but with an upgraded power train to pull it. I do still have some reserved thoughts about 2500# in the bed and 11K behind it, and how the rear frame will handle that. When I was in highschool, (I'm 32, so 15ish years ago) one of my shop teachers was a former GM Warranty Specialist.
Or something along those lines...
His name was Ed Wilson, and he told me a story about a late 80's crew cab that chewed up a few sets of brakes in less than 30K miles and the owner was really making a stink about it. He was called out to meet this owner (a lady) to inspect the truck and make a determination on GM's behalf on how GM would proceed.
Well they agreed to meet at a dealer near the lady's home and he got there early so he could see her pull in.
He said she pulled up with a triple axle horse trailer loaded to the gills, and he heard the turbo's attached to the 454 before he could see the truck.
They scaled the combo at more than 33,000 lbs.
Her warranty claims were subsequently denied.
