You were too far in front of us to see yours in action. Or I just didn’t get out and hike down. But that looks like it did awesome.

looks like your shock is @Bent77 in this pic

:rotfl: I knew someone would eventually see this. I checked the shock and it's not actually bent, it's gotta be some weird camera effect, if you look at the frame next to it it curves unnaturally as well. Maybe I should just tell the wife it's bent and time for links though...

I see what you mean now that I look again.

Thanks! I'm pretty pleased with how it did and how it feels right now.
And in less then 24 hours we have...

:haha:

I understand, I was looking at ORDs link kit for a hi-pinion Ford 60 into a square kit last night.

Some poser shots from the night run on Saran Wrap, impressive pics considering there was no daylight at all left.

The rock on Saran Wrap was nice enough to remove 2 of the snaps on my soft top so I pulled it off to replace them and it occurred to me I've never had the top off

I don't think you need to spend money on links. You just need a 75 cent nut on the end of that bolt....

Yeah, it's torn apart. Prepping for new rear suspension
Started with removing the exhaust and all the fuel lines and the passenger side header

Which was done because I figured since everything is out I may as well box the frame, so far it's boxed from the front hangers to the back where the frame starts to curve up, I'll be finishing the back soon. I'm just doing a lot at once as I have help, etc.

I've also got 1/2 of my rear cross brace done

I've also got the rear wheel wells pulled, the tires rubbed already and I'll be cutting the bed anyways so I'll make new ones to fit and clear everything

This weekend I had help so I worked on raising my sliders, drivers side got done, it's a little extra work since I already had sliders installed and tied into the frame. Came out great, very happy with the fit

This is all I have of the new suspension currently but it let's me get everything else done so I'm not sad

That's where I stand now, gotta finish the passenger slider, the other half of the x brace, box the frame around it and pull the gas tank so I can box the frame all the way back.
Also I've got 2 year old 14" bilstein shocks, ORD shock braces, and diy4x 64" rear leaf spring mounts I need to unload if anyone reading is interested. I'll post for sale when I'm not so lazy.

Be careful where you’re putting that cross brace. I know the upper links can come all the way up to the body at bump.
