In case your upper link comes in contact with it, i saw this somewhere on the internet and saved it to my phone. I thought the idea was pretty clean.

I’ve seen some guys cut the mount off too and make their own body mount with tube.
I did track the source of this though, adventurek5 on instagram. Only because it was driving me crazy remembering where I had seen them before.

Figuring that this build is going for max up travel, it almost certainly will make some contact. It's practically impossible to avoid, but easy to work around.

Although, it's not tig welded so it might not be.....
I'm pretty sure I still have the same spool of MIG wire in my welder from when I did the links in 2020.

He appears to be a cutter like the rest of us...
Carving deeper and deeper. Can't wait to see your truck, transformed!

I think I’m the only one that didn’t cut the body mount, but I also don’t have the high clearance bracket like the rest of you.

Awesome, your doing front links now. This brings back head achs for me haha.

I wanted to drive your truck when you only had rear links done to compair to my truck with front links only. I plan next winter to do rear links and new head achs

Tons of headaches in the rear. On the flip side, I never got to drive a truck with just links in the front.

Started making some sweet pcv links and promptly realized I didn't get hardware from ORD :(
So in the meantime I got the axle eyeballed under the truck and all put back together. I'll probably go buy some bolts to at leat be able to mock things in place while I wait for hardware. 20240122_205246.jpg20240122_205217.jpg20240122_205207.jpg
