1990 K5 Build ( Ol' Blue ) : Rocker rust...

I should have known a 39 dollar blower wasn't going to live up to it's bolt on 300hp gain ( thats if you put the sticker on your truck of course )

I threw some duck tape over it for now. Gotta buy a new blower because that one burnt out when it exploded so my old shitty one is in there. I was thinking a coffee can would work too !

I don't understand why this won't fit.. will it sit differently once the truck is on its tires. ORD site said if the flat knuckle being machined is the opposite taper for the tie rod then you need both knuckles... so I got both and it doesn't fit... Urgent help as this is my daily and only have 2 days to work on this with no other vehicle... It doesn't seem to fit at all...

Looks like it needs a O rate. Sorry Nic I don’t know what else. I take it that it’s not supposed to mount to the bottom of the knuckles.

Yea I was thinking the same thing... I hope an inch would be enough clearance...

And you can’t mount the tie rod from the bottom because of the taper for the tie rod ends. Is that right?

Yes ORD states it will work and it won't so I don't know what's wrong...

i know my tie rod isnt stock but i need way more than just the difference in size to clear the spring and the spring clamp as the tie rod articulates towards the axle..

im skeptical on if an easy inch would give me enough space or not so id hate to risk a leaf.. i guess ill put this all back to stock tomorrow and order up some easy inches from ORD..:weld::what:

Keep in mind if you go too tall the drag link will possibly have issues on compression
