Inbetween sling tension formulas and drawing out critical lift plans.. I had to clear my head of all the pythagorean theory, inverse factors, wire rope calculations ,and algebra.. So i went out to garage to get some shit done... I messed with the door a little but its still pissing me off.. Then i realized i had to get the power mirror wiring out... So i started unravelling all the tape and fishing the first section out of the door harness... Its a real pain the ass! When the door is on and the harness is fed through already.... So i got to digging. I got as far as the main harness for the truck where it dissapeared... So i started digging further.. It turns out my whole truck has been jimmy rigged with electrica tape and connections.. The main wires split off from the main harness into 2 different ways so i couldnt risk cutting any further.. As i have NO clue whats been done in there and have no time to figure it out. So i hope what i got out is enough for @blazinzuk to use. I am assuming the harness are all the same and if the truck got the option of the mirrors it was added at the main harness and then clipped in and routed under the dash to the door and so on..
After i got the mirrors out, i decided to try the window switches on the new drivers door. The passenger window works but i think theres an issue with the window motor in the drivers door, it wont budge. Its drawing power, because my voltmeter is going down when the switch is pressed. I might luck out as the window motor in my previous drivers door wasnt too bad. Is it hard to swap them??
Any advice on swapping the motors would be great as time is of the essence..
