1995 burb SAS: Rockwells and 47s.....

The brake switch probably failed. I eventually had to get an OE one cause the parts store switches kept crapping out. It wouldn’t let me shift from park and I had no brake lights.


Brake lights still worked it was the mechinsm that had failed , well was starting to fail . It’s gone now lol
 
What motor/trans/tcase is in this thing again?


Stock , 350/4L80E/NV241 it’s a pooch! It’s got “enough” gearing but it’s a gutless turd . Good thing about that though as it shouldn’t ever break hahaha.

It’s also a 95 , which is pretty much the worst year GMT400 .

Still TBI , but OBD2 a lot of the shit is one year only for this truck.

A LS swap and a doubler swap could possibly happen but honestly I’m thinking of just getting a GMT800 burb with a 8.1 or a 6.0 and swapping everything over.


Edit: To be fair , @plyr2k paid 200.00 for this Suburban with some electrical issues in the trans . So bang for the buck this thing has been great .

The only issue was someone had wired a 4l60e pigtail onto it and the colors dont cross reference! New pigtail, solenoids, and transwiring and its worked ever since!
 
Did a little cutting today . I’m thinking of having the flares bedlined should help them from cracking and breaking with impacts , or at least hold the pieces together.
