You have any issues with your 6.5? Other then the normal ones, pmd mainly.
Nope. Other than normal maintenance, I’ve had zero issues. I love it.

Nice, like to hear that. Have wanted a diesel forever, just never been able to. And a duamax is still well out of the budget lol. Hoping to find a doner truck for the engine and wiring and all that. Have a plan for adding an intercooler to, going to be another fun build.
this is exactly what i was looking for, i just picked up a 94 6.5 crew cab long bed c3500 and ive been hunting for a thread on swaping a solid axle into a 2wd without adding tons of lift! i might have to copy you a bit 
have you done anything more with getting a t-case in there? are you gonna run a divorced case?

Copy all you want, I could even build you all the brackets if you want. I haven't been able to do anything with the t case yet. I do have one and a plan to get it in there. Considered running a divorced but not going to now. That would be sweet to have them all made, But I’ve been thinking about using a big hub Dana 44 off a 79 k20. and your brackets are built for the Ford spring pad width right? I’m only considering the Dana 44 because it was free and it has the right gearing already, Do you think that would be adequate? It’s never really going to be a offroad beast, just a tow rig for the blazer that sees the occasional dirt road and snow. Or should I invest in getting a Dana 60?

I considered going with a 44 also when I started planning. Then decided it would really bug me to put a 44 (1/2 ton axle) in a 3500, make it a 3/4 ton essentially, would just bug me and I would end up building a 60 anyway lol. But no it wouldn't make a difference for daily driver/towing and mild Wheeling. What I personally wouldn't do with a 44 is run a tire bigger then 35 or mount a plow on the truck, that's going to be 60 territory in my opinion.

I'm thinking of doing another build but this time doing a replica of this truck just in the dually version...just cause they are so awesome!
Not sure where you live, but our trucks need to meet some time.
Boy it may be a while before my truck makes it down that far.
