Do you know how happy you just made me?!Tows great to. Once the 4 wheel stuff is all done and working I'm starting to plan a 6.5 swap. 454 pulls good but the single digits mpg get expensive lol.

You have any issues with your 6.5? Other then the normal ones, pmd mainly.Do you know how happy you just made me?!
Nope. Other than normal maintenance, I’ve had zero issues. I love it.You have any issues with your 6.5? Other then the normal ones, pmd mainly.
Nice, like to hear that. Have wanted a diesel forever, just never been able to. And a duamax is still well out of the budget lol. Hoping to find a doner truck for the engine and wiring and all that. Have a plan for adding an intercooler to, going to be another fun build.Nope. Other than normal maintenance, I’ve had zero issues. I love it.

Copy all you want, I could even build you all the brackets if you want. I haven't been able to do anything with the t case yet. I do have one and a plan to get it in there. Considered running a divorced but not going to now. Going to build an adapter to work with the longer 2wd output shaft so I don't need to mess with the trans at all.this is exactly what i was looking for, i just picked up a 94 6.5 crew cab long bed c3500 and ive been hunting for a thread on swaping a solid axle into a 2wd without adding tons of lift! i might have to copy you a bit
have you done anything more with getting a t-case in there? are you gonna run a divorced case?
@454crew does have a dang good looking truck!
I also have a 6.5 crew lwb build with some 6.5 tech info if you need it too

Feel free to ask any questions to, excited to see another low lift SAS.
Yours would get better mileage then mine though lol I would have to tow a gas station along with me lol sure do love this truck though. The big block is the only thing I would change, and that's only for mileage reasons.
