Caliper brackets got swapped side to side?
I was going to say the calipers fell off then I realized they won't fit with the offset.Dana 60 front. Started as a DRW axle, it came with some SRW hubs. Put a bunch of new stuff together and now I think the offset is wrong. Brakes aren't lining up right.
I don't think these brackets will work flipped over, they will hit the rotor.Caliper brackets got swapped side to side?
I will look at my d60 on the ground tomorrow, I should be able to see all these details and compare to your pictures. You two are both coming up with the same thoughts as me. Something is wrong on the offset. This axle was torn down and then stored for a while so I don't really remember where everything fits. I have tried offset in, offset out, caliper bolt up, caliper bolt down, etc. I think a DRW and SRW axle just differ at the hubs but I could be wrong. Ford, Dodge, Chevy differences? When the offset is out the rotor hits before the hub is all the way on. With the offset in, (as shown) rotor fits fine but the brake pad on the piston side falls out of the bracket before it touches the rotor. As a DRW axle everything was bolted together once upon a time. It makes me think the hubs may be wrong for SRW. The rotors are for a 1991 V3500 pickup. (My other 1 ton)
I think your correctWhat’s the order of parts?
Iirc, the spindle goes on first with the caliper bracket on the outside. Looks like your caliper bracket is on first.
Yeah, that would do it. I have bracket and then spindle at the moment. My other truck was not nearby to check. Been looking for a diagram. I was out in the county and the phone would not load. The hubs are probably correct, looks like ford ones have a different spindle and wouldn't fit the chevy. What’s the order of parts?

Usually the inner because it wears faster on a single piston caliperThose go on the ends on the brake pad, they make the squealing sound when the pads are worn down thin. I can't remember if it's the inner or outer.
Edit: inner pad
If the outer has them built in you will be fine. The outer already had some squeakers built in. (AC Delco professional pads) The inner has none. Clips came with the calipers but no diagram of where they go.
