I've got a little over 5k miles on the build, here's a little update.
I drive it almost daily, mainly around town. I enjoy driving it, most everyone enjoys seeing it. Its a fun truck. I use it around the house a bit, and I've even been driving it out of town to tractor jobs on occasion over unhooking the trailer from the Dodge. With the new CD player and the AC charged its pretty pleasant to be in for extended periods.
First, whats broken:
Bent front springs.
Broken transfer case adapter
Leaking front output seal (twice)
Two flat tires
Broken grill from snatch strap breaking
What I've done in the last few weeks:
Put in a new CD player, front speakers, and sub. All stuff I had donated and laying around.
Got tail lights and tailgate put on.
Wired old LED tail light into bed for lighting.
Replaced door hinge bushings on drivers side.
What needs fixed:
Damn cruise control stopped working.
One reverse light.
Leaking front output
Front diff needs a breather hose, rear needs extended.
Need full length fuel filler hose.
Need GMC emblem for grill (important...

)
Need to find someone with frame machine, or figure out home brew solution.
Need longer rear shackle. Rear springs really settled after pulling a spring out of pack, looks like pre runner.
The bed is bent. The frame is bent on the same side. Makes the truck look really crooked. I need to find a good anchor and jack or find someone with a frame machine to get it closer. Drives fine, looks weird.
Took it out a few days ago to some land a buddy owns. Grown up, needed a saw. Hornets got in the cab, got stung 5 times. Wasnt fun. The whole place looks like this. I need to build a bumper. I was half way in the creek, my limo doesnt like to turn very well.
Took a door off to do the hinges. Easy job. Might take doors off in the future for a fun dune trip.
Might spend the next two days at the river. Havent been there yet, should be fun.
