Just buy it and rob the front axle from the white truck.

Stock power diesels are not worth the cost of driving. If you’re not gonna up the power it’s pointless.
Yeah baby. My free breathing 6.7 keeps me paying the cost of diesel more than I should be.I used to think this. But after towing my burb back from Utah through the mountains behind my friends ‘03 LB7 the simplicity of stock is nice. My LBZ never struggled either.
but I will say this also, my current truck is a dodge with a deleted 6.7 and 6 speed and it’s a monster
I'll second this. My stock '01 lb7 pulls just fine and gets reasonably good fuel economy while it's at it. Mine is a daily driver and I prefer the reliability and driveability of stock over anything modified. Now if it's going to be a project and livability in daily life is not a concern, go to town.I used to think this. I took carpet out of my '90 and put vinyl in. Never again, even though it's easier to clean. Stuff slides easier, especially the mats. Yes, I use floor mats to keep from wearing holes in it quickly. So do I got back vinyl? Or Carpet?
That's a good point I hadn't considered. But in my last vinyl floored truck I didn't use mats.I took carpet out of my '90 and put vinyl in. Never again, even though it's easier to clean. Stuff slides easier, especially the mats. Yes, I use floor mats to keep from wearing holes in it quickly.
It's my personal preference. I don't like to wear out something more expensive and harder to replace, when I can put a mat on top. But then I get cranky when they slide. That's a good point I hadn't considered. But in my last vinyl floored truck I didn't use mats.

I completely understand that. My truck has 298k on it and the carpet is in horrible shape. Bare spots, black stains in grey carpet, just a mess. That's one of the things I need to look into replacing soon. It's my personal preference. I don't like to wear out something more expensive and harder to replace, when I can put a mat on top. Unfortunately I’m having trouble finding vinyl flooring for a crew cab. May have to do carpet.
