'71 K5 Blazer CST "Mean Green"

Anyone know what a stock shackle flip is good for on these years? Sounds like a 4" lift is needed to run 35s.

I think the odometer on this thing reads 82k. I believe that to be true. It sat from 1984 til last year. The valley was very clean and so were the heads. Little to no ring ridge, and it did have great oil pressure when I had it running. I just hope it runs well after I put the new heads on. I'm getting a aluminum radiator for it, hoping it runs cool for me too.

Painting stuff makes a world of difference. I never do engine work or most anything without throwing some paint on to make it look Purdy. Especially on a customers vehicle.

You didn't have any black paint to give that pulley and fan a quick spritz?
Need to take it back off when I get a different fan for it. Needs new belts for it too. Pretty much want to make sure the thing runs solid and then I'll do some major cleanup on it.

Cool i wasn't trying to be a dick, just the heads look a nice! :thumb:
Nah didn't take it that way. Just don't want to go all out on it and possibly have a main or rod knock at higher rpms. Things hasn't seen 2000 rpms yet.
