Where did you get your pass side knuckle machined for crossover?
I guess if I gotta be the old guy, might as well be the cool old guy.Who doesn't want to be the old guy that has all the cool and handy tools.
I had the crossover done by advanced 4x4 in salt lake city. I believe they did the machining themselves. They did several things for me back when I had less knowledge, tools and shop space, and did pretty good work.Where did you get your pass side knuckle machined for crossover?
I remember going in there to talk to them about it once about 10 yrs ago or so. I will have to call them. I wasn't sure if I should send it to them or to someone like ORD. I will have to check some more if anyone up here in Idaho can do it also. ThanksI guess if I gotta be the old guy, might as well be the cool old guy.

Cool, Thanks. I try not to drive down that way too often but maybe I can time it with a trip down also.If they won't ship it back and forth, let me know. You'd could always ship it to me and I could take it in for ya.
The D44 went much better, but somehow I managed to lose a thrust bearing when taking it apart. Luckily @bigblock72 donated one to the cause and got us back on track.

You mean the gears that were "barely" in? lolYep a bit fustrating, but it's good. Anything is better than the gears in your front 44 lol.
I think you mentioned it a time or two... Judging by my passenger side rocker panel I needed to build sliders last year.Did I mention you really need to build sliders now![]()

What happened to the caliper brackets you had on the truck?Whoops, ran into a problem. Did you know that D44's for different applications have different offsets for the caliper brackets? Me neither... but I do now.
Got to source another bracket.
That's right, forgotI went one. I had a caliper bolt snap off and bend the bracket. Or vice versa
np. It was still mounted to the truck when I figured it out, so no throwing it over a fence in frustration.Btw I need that back Josh I don't have any spares
