If Greg gets distracted by the kiddo and never gets back to this build you can use those to build a bridge or something. :D

I can't wait to see these axles assembled....

Nice work Scott.

Yeah the machining looks good Scott, nice job. Are they going to have flanges of some sort, or the back will match the front? I don't remember what the castings looked like.

The photos show what would be the pumpkin-facing side of the adapter.

The opposite side will be mating to this:

That is the inner "C" for the front axle. Basically a smaller through-hole than what is needed for the 3.5" axletube, so I don't think there's much special that needs to be done other than to leave me a small chamfered edge to do a nice deep weld between these adapters and the axletube itself.

The rears will be quite a bit different, since there is a large plate-type seal and a series of bolts that need clearance cut into the adapter.

I can't take any credit for the machining as I did not do it, a good buddy of mine is making these parts and i'm just simply the "middle man" since Greg is on the east coast and I know what needs to get done and my buddy works at a CNC shop and can do the work.

Checked in to catch up a bit, even though we've spoken over the phone I wasn't giving these new adaptors their just do...wow!

Way to come up with 'the answer'. :thumb:

Congrats on the little one too, welcome to father-hood.

There should be some new finished pics of the front adapters by either monday or tuesday night.

I don't even know what they're gonna cost. :doah:

I'd say Greg at least owes you that shirt that he was talking about, maybe even a slice of pizza too. :D

Seriously though, very nice execution on the parts. :waytogo:
