OK, thats all I was able to find as well. tried to match that Apex Red, but its off a few shades. Looks good in the right lighting (sun) though so it'll most likely stay the way it is for now.

what do you need?
I don't really remember off hand. Nothing important and nothing that I couldn't probably find locally. I am pretty sure I want to do away with my headers and go back to manifolds so I'll need a set of them and the down pipes. I also want an original style air cleaner like yours. I also really need to find a big block radiator, shroud, and top Mount. Seems like there is some other stuff too.

Got the shop cleared out and made room to get the CC in there.... Not much room to spare but its in for the winter!

Oye! Just going to push it out a little each time you work on it? Or just mostly work on from the sides?

Plan on removing the box, bumpers, and front end
Should gain another foot doing that

Are you planning to pull the engine from inside that sardine can? :eek1: That will be quite a squeeze!
Yep
I have no alternative and its heated as well
I can get it ready to pull then open the door and back it up a bit when needed.

Ok. I didn't see the post about taking the bumpers off. I've worked in spaces like that numerous times. Sure beats a snowy, muddy driveway. And heat is just icing on the cake.

HOOTERS!! :haha::haha:

Just like when we did the BB in mine EH Dave push it back remove no big deal, just pick a nice day and have some friends over to help.
Kris told me it was 25c over there yesterday! NICE! :thumb:

Yeah 3 tits Dean!
By taking off the front end obviously it will allow much easier access and by removing the box and rear bumper I can get about 2 to 2-1/2 feet up front and removing the outer tire get around it a little easier as well.
I want to replace all the brakelines at this point as well as a few other things that will be much easier with the box off
And yeah we've had a real nice 4-5 day stretch going this week!

Truck's looking awesome, seems a shame to switch out the engine with it being so original. Looks like the paint could use some freshening up. I know a guy who's pretty awesome at it @y5mgisi :tongue1:

Awesome Dave! Looks like plenty of room. Just don't store the parts on the side. :)
box and front end will sit outside for the winter...I have to make it work its my best scenario with what I have to work in!

It is, but my long term goals say go with diesel power, with cheap gas it isn't too bad, but at 3.50-4.00/gal and 5mpg its undriveable for long distance like it is.
The paint and body will get some love in the next few years....mechanicals and reliability are on the agenda for this phase! I may choose to hit it with a wheel and shine her up a bit though!

Picked up some power optioned doors and an OEM tailgate.
Bought some other parts in a bundle for 250 total including some aftermarket floor supports, inner and outer rockers and a good used windshield.
