Didn't the Dana 70 come with powerloc?It appears I do NOT have a split case diff....that would have allowed me to use a drop in Detroit locker....as it is I'll have to order a new Detroit Soft Locker carrier to go with the 3.54's

Thats not a power lock.Not as far as the BOM says...STD diff 4.10 gears.

But do you really need a locker for a 2wd tow vehicle?
He might need one pulling off in a non paved parking lot... any 2wd benefits from a traction adder
this is my biggest reason for a locker...although it will probably be infrequent for needs, the time will come I wish I had it, and changing to 3.54's MAW do it now!
