Man its good to have help!!!

Jess, I was looking at the diagram, and being the master electrician that I am, I just couldn't think it right...my electrical bud came over and cleared it up for me! The two wire plug on the FAST temp sensor was throwing me for a loop, as my existing sensor has one wire that goes to the fan relays...the fast fan relay switching wire is separate from those two wires on the FAST relay...simple now that it was explained to me with the equipment in front of me.

Just made a run for some intake gaskets, some wire, shrinkwrap and soldering gun....my old POS Weller isn't working.
Back to the shop, hopefully I'll get something done now!

But the best way to do it was get it out in the open to drill the hole and make for good welding position.
While I got the fenders off I decided to pull the plugs before the FAST system starts mixing things to see what they look like next time....not bad for the hammering it takes!
Everything inside looks real good, no surprises.:thumb:

Got the intake changed out to the RPM air gap....man shes a sexy bitch now!

DEAN, I could not see the fuel pump lobe from any position....I even stuck my head down in the lifter valley....perhaps a mirror would have brought it into sight?

EZ-EFI guys what have you used for throttle hookup...I have the factory cable, and need to go to a holley type hookup?

Me either Dave! It's all good... Mine moves the push rod so I should be Ok!

Good luck buddy! You will be running in no time! :thumb:

Ordered a CSR throttle link bracket and a fuel pump block off plate....jeez the little things you don't realize...

Tell me about it! Glad you're getting her back together Dave! Can't wait to see how it does with the FAST stuff on there!

I"m hoping it all comes to me by Friday, that will be critical.

Found out my old Stainless tubing fuel line will not hold 75# pressure....the fittings leak and I can't get them to tighten up anymore...f'ing stainless...had the same issue with some brake lines.
So.......ordered 120$ worth of new braided stainless hose and fittings for the supply line....oooof.

I remember the brake line fiasco. We couldn't flair that to save our lives. How many psi does the fast system need? I thought it was in the 20's.

needs min 43# @ the regulator, not sure what it is up to that though?
I don't want no fuel leakage going on!

right Kert, seems to be their default pressure I guess....the injectors can operate up to 80#, to support 650 hp as well. I'll start at 43#.

Talked with Philly87 today about the tach rev limiter output signal, and the Streetfire does not have that output, but the 6A boxes do, something to think about with the EZ EFI and the MSD 6 boxes.

Didn't recieve my much needed fuel line parts today, so I worked on the wiring aspect of the installation, should be able to wrap that up tomorrow and then wait for fuel line parts.

The distributor drive gear is wearing real fast on this HEI dist I got, not sure why, the dist sits on the manifold flat without a gasket, so its not to tall. With a gasket in place it will give it a little more clearance as well....looks like the cam teeth are wearing into the dist teeth an excessive amount..:dunno:

I had the same problem with a SBC. Many people told me it was a high volume oil pump that caused it but that was not the case. The problem was the oil pickup was too close the bottom of the oil pan and it was trying to suck the pan into the pump. I had a Milodon pan and another brand pump and pickup. They did not work well together. Drop the pan and measure the depth of the pickup and then measure the depth of your pan. I ended up changing brands and bending the pickup to get more clearance. Of course your results may vary . My 2 cents !:waytogo:
