I took my D60 to the spring and driveline shop today, and spoke with the mechanic doing the work. The jig mentioned above is to drill the hole for a heli-coil, not a bushing of some sort. Perhaps my mis-understanding, or perhaps mis-spoken by the counter person.
He said they have done these before, but not in quite a while. If for some reason he can't get a heli-coil, he has other methods of repair of the hole.

.......and don't worry, it will be solid when he's done with it.
This guy cracks me up....i.e. He is a gruff old dude, that when you ask him about something he jumps right to an answer kinda like he's heard it a hundred times from others.
This guy seems to know his stuff pretty good, and suggested U-joints for the front axles that are solids, and stronger than whats in there now. (which are both bad).
He has built stuff for some monster trucks, some pullers (1200tq/5.9 cummings powered), and lots of drag stuff. He seems to have the experience needed here.
I also am having them put in a 1410 yoke, and replacing the pinion seal, replace the inner axle seals, and having them rebuild the kingpins while they have it, as I couldn't get the lower caps off either side.....did you see that pic above of the bearing. This stuff is beat up, and rusty as hell.
I got other sh!t to do....have at it boys.
