welcome aboard....I have been watching yours....very nicely done
I think I will proceed with the plan described above, it should be a quick (comparitively) fix to make this work now. Remove one bar, put in a temp, draw the side bars into place, then weld a shorter bar in the top.
I really appreciate the offer, and if you still got it, and I'm headed to Chicago again in the future, maybe we can work something out, I may be interested in one for my trail trailer build in the future.
If only I knew about it when I took Eric to Ohare.
Adam, right now I would, and we can hook up sometime in the near future I think. I would look at it to maybe just clip the top roof portion off of it, and use it as a source of shade. The top would then be attached directly to the upper most bars of the cage, and the front cab section of the truck.
What shape is it in?
couldn't sleep, and this finally got ya there huh?
So what do you think about it all?
I really like seeing the body, and top on it right now, even if it is temporary.
I love the truck & and your passion for it...I've been wanting to build a truck since high school...still waiting...

I'm scared since I seen how fast the $$$ adds up, even doing it yourself...

Your work on the 14 bolt has me thinkin about just getting one from boyce equipment, or someplace like that.
But I am definenatly digging it, great work & workmanship

couldn't sleep, and this finally got ya there huh?

we were doing an emergency babysitting gig last night, watching a 10 month old. I was trying to keep my Bride company & help her out...the baby's mom finally got out of the e.r. at 6 am...long night for everone.
