Very cool Keith, we'll leave Kerts asap, but have few things to do at his place before we leave Tues....I can't kill my truck getting there, so we will take what its comfortable with, but plan on driving straght through til we get there.....

In the meantime we worked up til 11 tonight and took another shakedown run out back over the rocks, and in a little sand, everything is performing great....

late night shot....see you all at MOAB....BB11 here we come.

The truck looks AWESOME  :waytogo:  :waytogo: :woot:

I wish you all the luck on your trip and at BB :D, you have accomplished so much in such a short time and even with all the hurdles thrown at you, you never gave up :thumb:.

I hope all goes smoothly and make sure you take lots of pics :D

Looks awesome Dave. Good work and if you get tired, call me. I'll talk your ear off.

See you tomorow.

Same Dave, if your tired driving call me you got my number.

Looks awesome.

I meant Wed morning to Keiths house but you guys should be able to get some shut eye while we work on the truck. I will only have brake and turn signals left to do hopefully.

This thing's making Ryoken Green grow on me more and more as a color.

Read through half of this last night and just finished it up today....Also read through the Vette' build a couple days ago.

Dont know how i missed this, but i will be paying attention from here on out.

:waytogo: Great work man, Loved seeing a bunch of Ck5'ers get together to work on a truck, that was some good stuff.

He's on his way, probably half way to the shop. Won't be here till late this evening though. Couple small items we're going to try and take care of real quick at the shop.

Grab some shut eye and hit the road in the a.m. again.

I just seen dave at the I80 truck stop in walcott IA. tow rigs running strong and maidens pulling good. said he got 8mpg on the first tank with a head wind. I'm kinda liking the 6.0 more now. always thought it would be a gas hog motor.

Dad's 2000 K2500 non-HD extended cab shortbed fully loaded old man truck got 15mpg or so on the stock 245/75R16 AT's. Zim's got it pretty loaded down so that isn't bad.

Lookin good dave. Real good. Im stoked to see how it does out their. Cant wait to get a ride in it someday:thumb:

Been in pretty constant contact with Dave. He's getting to a part of the trip now where the big interstates don't get it done for you anymore.

He'll be catchin' up with Stomper, from here on CK5, before to long, to guide him the rest of the way to the shop. Stomper is one of those guys that knows every little jog and work around in his particular neck of the woods.

don't be shy posting "where is Dave now" updates. I'm sure I'm not the only one living vicariously through Dave's adventure right now. :waytogo:
