That was my thinking.

$200 for a 16 ft section if you got 2 sets of four you would make your money back. Four sets of them is a pretty good profit margin.

You could sell them for $25 each and still make 100% profit based on the $200 price for 16 feet.

Hardest part would be figuring out what to cut it with.

from what I've read it is a little bit of an odd size too. Be careful what you buy. I can take a measurement of my mag inserts I.D. if you'd like.

Yeah I know the product very well, and I have never just jumped into something blindly and lost my ass.
I also believe they are beveling the edge to sit better in the bead area so I guess the I.D. would be closer to 16"

I cut plastic pipe alot at work, we just use a circular saw with a wood blade. We have made 2 sets of inserts too with some scrap pipe in our bone pile. One set was for some 20" home made double bead locks. Closes we had was 21" pipe so cut a slit I think was around 2 3/8" out of it and it spring to the right size. Stuck it in the tire and ran duct tape to keep the slit together. Once the beadlock is tightened down it can't really go anywhere. The other set was for some H1s that MTMike had rubber runflats. Closest size was 18" pipe so did the same math and figured out the width of the slit to cut out then he used some thin strap and screws to keep the slit together. This is that blue burried irrigation pipe and is pretty thick and when you cut a slit out it naturally wants to spring back tight. About to make another set for a friend with H1s and no inserts.

I know the pipe very well, we cut it with a big circular saw for underground work but for this I will be doing a bit cleaner cut.
Might actually do CNC for a better finish and size accuracy.

They are two piece wheels. You have to install it when you put the tire in the middle, and then bolt the wheels halves together.
