8 Low

Here goes nothing, added 2 leaves out of another 52" spring pack shortened to be proportionate to the rest for f the pack. Deleted the overload. Also wiped them down with bar & chain lube just like all of the pro leaf spring shops!:surepal:

Your not going to see many selfies on this thread but here you go, me working on the drivers side spring pack up against a wall. Tight quarters in here!

Alright, built a set of custom 52's. added 2 leaves to each pack. The leaves were from another 52" leaf set. I cut down the leaves 6 1/2" or 3 1/4" off the front & back. The intent was to get rid of the overload & replace the capacity with a more progressive action. They perform about like I had imagined. They are stiffer than a stock 52" spring. The provide some lift, I'd say better than an inch. They handle the rough stuff better than a stock 52. They would be a great lift spring but are not what I am after. Had to give it a shot. I don't hate them. I'll probably run them the way they are till I either replace the springs with ORD springs.

It had some sweet chrome headlight brush guards but we chopped them off with a quicky saw to fit it in the trunk of my Honda. Really did not plan on using the bumper portion but I don't hate it & it's pretty solid. It would look a little better mounted lower but I did not want it hanging down too far. It made my "custom" spring pack ride a lot better!

I see your profile says you're from Nebraska, but I'd swear I saw your truck just outside cokeville, wy this last weekend. Maybe one just like it, but what are the odds? @blazinzuk this is the converted burban I was telling you about... I think.

Yea I live in the Lincoln area, probably not me. Burbalanches are dime a dozen, I have 2!
