Oh yours is the figure 8. Well then I probably don't have one of those. I was thinking yours would be the round pattern for some reason. Oh well. $175?![]()
yep
For that kind of money I'll be hitting the pick n pull yards for another adapter.

A TH350/NP205 adapter is fairly rare.

1973 K10 and K20's.
Some early K10's with 6 cylinders.
All 1980 K series trucks have an NP205.

What adapter did the 350/203 have? That would be super easy to find if it's the same.
One last idea. I wonder if there was a manual trans from a 6 cylinder truck that had an adapter that would work. I know one from an NP465 wouldn't work. Pretty sure they're different on the trans end.
I just bought a whole 205 to get mine.
Pm sweetk30. He has one for sale.

When I put my truck back together with the 465/208 I bought I noticed that the adapter pedestal feet had been welded before...just one side.
I used it because I was in a rush to get it running and I didn't have another one to use.
Looked like it was welded years ago, it`s still holding on, but I don't drive it much.
To bad It broke before you finished the Rubicon. Great pics!
One place I`ve always wanted to go!
I read some info about welding it however my confidence in doing something like that isn't very high. I could be risking another breakdown on the trail with it anyway.
We're a bit spoiled with the Rubicon and several other trails in our backyard. I'm itching to get the truck fixed and make another run later this summer after work slows down.
Im sure it could be welded...the question is will it be on your mind every time you hear a creak lol.
Ill definitely be read for early or late august. Just cant be around hot august nights. I know some foolsizers are thinking about about going july 17th.
I have a box to mail your stuff back that you lended me. Thanks again. Hoping to get it in the mail this week...

I would just have it welded.
Martin
I would too but after being on the rubicon, you would have one hell of a time getting a truck out of there even after only going a few miles in. If you were halfway in i could easily see over 12 hours to get out. Id rather get a new one and bring a welder lol.
But ultimately I feel the same way, I want it fixed right because I tend to be hours from any asphalt road pretty often.Skunked did you ever get your front seals to stop leaking? I think i need to do seals soon...
Where it broke I could have put a 4x4 under it and strapped the $hit out of it and probably been ok. Hell I drove 2 hrs home and didn't even know that was brokenBut ultimately I feel the same way, I want it fixed right because I tend to be hours from any asphalt road pretty often.
I'm 1 for 2. The passenger still leaks a little after installing new seals. Getting the carrier in and out without a spreader is a bitch!
There was some pitting on the axle shafts where the seal rides, I smoothed it out however I think it's grooved just enough to let it leak. I read something about doubling up the seals too![]()
ORD sells outer seals, not designed to keep the oil in but I think it would help.
