Well, and orange I guess. But for engines I've always liked black. But then again, I have never really had a "cool" engine. They've always just been average.

Chevy orange engines also run a bit cooler then any other color, at least 40-50 degrees...

Plus you can see where youre hemorrhaging oil from easier.

40-50 degrees not buying that one need to see the study. True any color besides dark colors will show you oil leaks etc easier.

and men who know how do do a lift correctly. Seems like alot forget to do the rear or to stupid to figure it out.

Well this sucks!

This bolt was loose as I mentioned before, about 3 rotations when I was pulling the engine. With it on the stand I found it got tight after 3-4 rotations so I went forward and reverse repeatedly trying to get it out and then it snapped. It's appears to be grade 8.

Weld a nut on? Reverse drill bit?

Any suggestions on how to approach this are welcomed.

Par for the course.

Weld a nut on first. If you do an ez out first you may end up with nothing to weld too. Just fill that beotch with wire!

That was my first idea too. Hate this kinda shit.

I was in the same spot with the head bolt that broke. That flux core did work!!

Flood that thing with atf/acetone or penetration oil of some kind. I'd let it sit a day and just keep soaking it. It'll wick in there. Then short spurts of welding, let cool and wrench!

Weld in short spurts? I thought you crank the heat and burn that bastard in?
