The lokar throttle cable I bought has a clevis on the pedal end so I made a little tab for the pedal.

You got a part number you can post up for this lokar cable. I am afraid I'll need something similar down the road.

The $100 free shipping deal by Summit is pretty genius. I have bought more than I would have otherwise because I need to get my cart total up to $100.

yep.

Couple months ago I was $5 short and bought a sticker pack :doah:But that was cheaper than the shipping cost.

I have about $2000, worth of shit saved in my Amazon cart.... As I order I slowly buy my list....
I do the same at summit.

For household and random business stuff I use Amazon.

For auto parts however it's rarely cheaper because I'm either paying sales tax with Prime or shipping for non-prime items. Whereas Summit is next day delivery, no tax and no shipping cost (over $100).

I agree... And Amazon is constantly changing their prices. So I'll pick out something I want then wait a few weeks to watch the price change up and down..
I currently have one of those Evolution cold saws in my cart.Screenshot_20170524-101832.png

Its sitting at 395 today. It's went down 20 bucks from the time I put it in there.
I think it has a few more dollars to spare before it will go up.

Now am a really worried about saving 5 bucks on a 400$ tool? No not really, but it just makes for a fun game to play for me.

Right now I don't need it. But once I do I'll hit " buy now with 1-click" or with a higher ticket item it comes down to cash flow.

Also I'll pick out alot of stuff in that I just want and leave it there as a reminder of what I wanted. I left a hughes torque converter in my summit cart for a year before I bought it. Simply so I didn't have to remember what the hell I wanted to run....

Or once I'm actually ready. I start price checking deals vs the rest of the internet.

In the end it's really just a fun game of enjoying what you slave away for.

I do the same thing with parts, do all the research and then bookmark it on a wishlist on Amazon or Summit for later. When it's time to buy you can always shop around with the part number.

Wow, you said exactly what I said in 1/4 of the words... Feeling pretty derp right now.

Yeah the changing price thing on Amazon got me the other day. Reordered the same wire didn't look at price just hit reorder. Figured out later it cost half again as much the second time around. Learned I need to check all buying options each time because if I had I could have actually paid LESS the second time.

Another thing to watch out for is things sold by Amazon " warehouse deals LLC" or " Amazon warehouse deals LLC"

It's basically a front business owned by Amazon but under a different LLC that they sell broken shit under.
They set the LLC so they can close it down in case someone sues.
They got me for 16 bucks on a led light.
By the time I got the light the return window was shut.
I started looking around on the net and it turns out that that name is a total sham.
I looked into the seller list and it not evening listed. Since it was 16 bucks I decided it wasn't worth my time.

Now I really watch who it comes from.
