Very nice work on the shock hoops.

I have the same Fox Shox, just a slightly older version. I need to get hoops built and get mine on too. Thanks for paving the way!

What is the thing on each exhaust runner at the engine end?

The plugs? I welded those in.

Looks great! How do you remove your U bolts?

Thanks and the pads unbolt. I know I posted some photos back at some point but I can show you the design if you’re interested.

No, it's ok I was just wondering. Mine are welded on, but there is a round relief cut on each corner.

Spent a little time yesterday looking at wiring schematics, removing all the tape on the harness and labeling wires in the cab. Only found one wire nut under all the tape :D Then I temporarily wired the ignition switch & push button start so I could fire the engine :saweet:

Now I'm looking at ideas to mount the switch panel, relays and other switches.

Forgot to share this other side project I finished last month. I picked up a Swag Offroad bottle jack cradle with the idea of mounting it to a scissor jack, works pretty good in the gravel on the side of my house. I want to build a mount for it behind my seat or maybe in the bed somewhere.

Looking good! I like that jack too. Might have to get one.

Anything special about the jack itself? (for shopping purposes)

They make a few different models but this one is a 24" 5K lb model that's available on amazon for under $50. I've seen a few guys use them at KOH and with an impact they work pretty quick. I still carry a hi lift but I can see where this jack could be useful as well.

Wonder if mounting a larger plate to the bottom for a bigger footprint would be prudent. For stability.

I thought about that too. I'm usually in rocky & dry terrains so I don't know if it's necessary for my application but I could see the requirement for those in muddy terrains. Same goes for the hi-lift plastic bases they make.
