So probably not enough to cause an issue. Good catch

It’s a good 36” from the O2 so I doubt it had an effect on the EFI. However I think the leak caused some of the heat shield to come loose off the floor.

I’m pretty close to “ready” for the trip.

Looks like @Chevk587 might not make it

Best luck I have ever had with collector gaskets is the aluminum ones.

Yes I’ve tried those but these are welded flanges so they stay flatter than a traditional header collector. I highly doubt I would have had an issue if I hadn’t lost a bolt.....

you can see the flange right after the merge in this photo.

The Rubicon trip was a lot of fun and the truck did well. @onetonbb74 and @530BLAZER are a couple cool kats to wheel with too.

The carnage isn’t too bad but my tie rod is bent pretty good, front bumper needs some attention (bracing), few new dents and I need a new pair of tailights :D I really can’t complain considering I drove the truck to the trail, beat on it and drove it 2 hours + home.

bunch of random pics

Some pics of the carnage.

bent the tie-rod pretty good. Maybe I’ll finally use those WFO high steer arms that I’ve been hoarding for the past 5 years.

Sliding down the granite into the pond this happened. I thought I barely touched the tree. The bottom of the fender was from another V notch obstacle by the springs. That’s also where I bent the shit out of the bumper tube.

Most of this is Fordyce however the scrape near the trim is from the rubicon.

Both taillights got some love but this one got it worse between buck and little sluice. @530BLAZER got some love from that rock too.

I’m also having an issue with my crawl box sliding into neutral when I decel in 2 high. It’s a problem I had when I first got this truck together and it went away. I need to call NWF on Monday and see what they say.

The front of the 205 likes to pop out going down hill in loose shale rock so I need to address that this winter too. Never did it on fordyce but the rock on the rubicon seems to trigger it.

Make sure your rear bearing isn’t pushing out

I’ve heard that it’s either the 32 spline ORD front shaft (they’re machined slightly different than OE) or the front shift lever that’s worn out. Those were two experiences from two other CK5 members.

this T-case has done this since day one however I swapped out the shift rails, detents and front shaft before I ran it.

If I’m bound up on the granite (turning hard w/lockers engaged) it will also pop the 205 out. I normally pull the front out of gear to avoid this now.

That’s interesting. Mine has the ORD input, and drive the rear bearing out. I’ve wondered if the fork was the issue.

Funny, my 205 will pop the front into neutral going downhill sometimes too. Ord 32 spline front output.
