85 Suburban. Back in the shop

That looks damn good man! I really like that it's not all round tube, I think square steel looks better on our trucks.

Yes, agree. I didnt want all round tube. I think the square, well...rectangle tube actually looks bad azz. And it matched my sliders. .

Doing some prep at hope since I couldn't be at the shop since Friday.

Also wanted to show the back side and mounted the feet forward and incorporated the DIY leaf mounts.

Well more.progress on a late night. This is how I was going to mount the front shocks, then decided to change. Bolt direction

Any reason as to why you changed the direction of the bolt? I'm guessing for shock loading, but I would like to know

Well just a wild.guess of how the shocks work with the suspension traveling. There is so much droop..about 13 inches, and the front axle went forward about 3 inches, I felt if the top bolt was right to.left instead of front to back there would be less stress on the mounts and bushings. Also, the way I put the.bigger spacer in the top seem to.spread the load to my 3rd shock support better

Busting tail to make this.weekends trip.

Still.a few things to.do.

Rear shock mounts, mount winch....may not get to that tho.

Figure out tripple stick shifter with bench.seat.hmmmm

Oh yeah. Exhaust plumbing and a toe adjustment

Made it through a small road test, light run and a camping trip this weekend. Works awesome.

Very happy with the front end, and the rear needs some tweaking. Went up and down Moab hill at rainbow falls. My driving skills need polished up, but overall im satisfied
