With all the snow I wasn't able to work on the truck till last night and I only had 2 hours to work. Got it melted off and started mounting my receiver. Just need to burn it in.
I messed around with the 60 a little. Found out the drivers lockout is destroyed. Calipers are going to be fun to get off.
Goal is to get it running today or at least cranking over if there are other issues.
A good source for cheap junkyard lockouts is 3/4 ton IFS Fords.

Got the receiver burned in today.
Made tank straps.
Painted them.
Mounted.
For some reason it won't crank over right now. Will have to look into it.

Thinking I'm going to bed line it and buy a new vinyl mat.
Also found a mouse nest in the intake tube. That was the worst thing I've ever smelled.

I don't know. Did it before ever wheeling it. Then seem to do as well as any other similar sized tire. Seem pretty sticky. Trailworthy said it was a worthwhile mod.

Thanks. I made them from 1/4" x 1.5" steel plate.
Ah! Thick! Vevy cool...I have the tank but no mounting hardware. I like your idea, if I ever get to it i`m going to steal it!
