Ease of making my own exhaust was part of why I want LT's. The 69230 Hedmans look like they give a lot of clearance.

I was thinking of going with a set of these headers on my truck These are a set of mid-length headers from FlowTech PN# 11508 (owned by the Holley company). The fitment chart says they are for square body GM trucks. I wanted to try a set of mid-length headers because I have had some fitment problems with full length headers in the past with a couple of my old square bodied 4X4 trucks.

I'll have to check these out...maybe I can find them on summit.

Ordered a Warn service kit.

Sand blasted and painted the dials.

But they don't fit for some reason.

About an 1/8th inch from sitting flush on the hub. @skunked Did you have these on your axle?

I'm not sure if I'm missing something or these aren't Dana 60 lockouts? The body of the lockout is up against the spindle and everything seems to be installed correctly.

Here is the old crappy Mile Marker hub next to the Warn.

I took these out. I believe they're from the old lockouts. Not sure why I'd need a lock ring in front of and behind the lockout. And I don't think this washer is factory. It was up against the spindle.

It's too bad they don't work. Looks good.

Someone tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Hard to see for sure in the pic but is the o-ring hanging up? That's all I can think of.

No, the O ring isn't touching the hub like it's supposed to. The outer lockout piece with the dial is screwed onto the lockout body and sitting flush on it. The lockout body is sitting up against the spindle. Only thing I can think of is they're not the correct lockouts.

try unbolting all the Allen screws and see if you can get the outer part of the hub to go together by clocking the chrome part in a different groove. I guess it would be the black part for yours. I'll run out and look at a hub in the shop to see if I can come up with something. I'm just kinda throwing things out there right now!

I'm 99% sure it can only go on one way cause of the 3 prongs, or maybe that makes it 3 ways haha. I'll have to check tomorrow. I appreciate it!

Your hub definitely looks like a 60 hub. Yeah after looking at this one I see that too. Good luck! It seems like whatever is messed up should be obvious I guess? Maybe spindle nut not tight or something? :dunno:

Wait!!! After re-reading your post... Is there a snap ring behind the splines where the screwdriver is pointing? If there is that's the problem. May have worked with the milemarker hubs but not the warns.

I had a weird issue when I was trying to assemble them and posted about it in my build thread. Someone said the guts and outer dials were mismatched. That's why I mentioned it in the wanted thread however that idea was dismissed :dunno:

And nice job on the restoration of those lockouts

Had a D60 hub do this once.

Is the big ring you lock the hub lock into the hub with in?

I only saw one post about it in your build thread. I'm not sure what's going on.

Thanks!

When you push the aluminum hub-lock insert into the hub, are you able to get the large (3.5") retaining ring in?
